2022 Honda CR-V Powertrain Specs

The 2022 Honda CR-V draws its power from a 1.5-liter turbocharged inline-four-cylinder engine that produces 190 horsepower and 179 foot-pounds of torque. The engine is mated to a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT) with Sport Mode and the power is sent to the front wheels through a front-wheel-drive system.

Hybrid versions of the 2022 CR-V are also available and are powered by a powertrain consisting of a 1.9-liter inline-four-cylinder engine combined with an AC (Alternating Current) Synchronous Permanent-Magnet Electric Motor to produce a combined 181 horsepower and 232 foot-pounds of torque. The hybrid powertrain comes mated to an Electronically Continuously Variable Transmission (E-CVT) with Sport Mode and Deceleration Selectors. The drivetrain that comes standard for the hybrid version is the Real-Time All-Wheel Drive (AWD) with Intelligent Control System™.
