2022 Honda Accord Engine Specs
The base 2022 Accord is powered by a turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-four-cylinder engine that produces 192 horsepower and 192 foot-pounds of torque. The engine is mated to a continuously variable transmission (CVT) with Sport Mode and power is sent to the front wheels through the front-wheel-drive system (FWD).
For those looking for more power, a turbocharged 2.0-liter inline-four-cylinder engine that produces 252 horsepower and 273 foot-pounds of torque is also available. This engine comes with a 10-speed automatic transmission and the power is sent to the front wheels.
Both the engines offer snappy performance. While the base 1.5-liter engine is more of a casual driver, the 2.0-liter engine is a lot more responsive and offers gripping performance. The 10-speed automatic transmission’s shifts are crisp, and the vehicle stability is great around corners.
